AhlulBayt News Agency: More than 1000 Scouts performed the ceremony of Ziyarat and chanting the Scout Promise at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), as part of the central ceremony to conclude the programs of the Al-Kafeel Scout Association for the year 2024.
The closing ceremony is held by the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine for the duration (27 - 28/ 12/ 2024)، under the slogan (generations following the footsteps of the prophets).
The ceremony was attended by the member of the board of Directors of the holy shrine, Mr. Laith al-Mousawi, a number of heads of its departments and officials, as well as dignitaries, official delegations and parents of the participants.
The Scout Promise was delivered by Mr. Hussein Riad, and it stated: (I promise to do my best to do my duty towards Allah and then the homeland, and help people all the time. I work by the Scout Law), as well as performing the ceremony of Ziyarat of Master Aba Al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
The ceremony will witness a scout parade at the Karbala International Stadium, in addition to a tour of Scout institutions in Iraq in the projects of the holy shrine, in addition to other paragraphs.
More than 1,000 scouts from different age groups are taking part in the ceremony, including 325 participants from Basra governorate, in addition to the attendance of more than 100 guests representing ministries and educational figures, with parents and school principals.
