AhlulBayt News Agency: On the Eid of Mab’ath, a 33-year-old woman from Germany embraced the true faith of Islam at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
Eid al-Mab’ath marks the anniversary of the day when Muhammad (PBUH) was appointed to prophethood and became the last messenger of God.
It was celebrated by Muslims on Tuesday, the 27th day of the lunar Hijri month of Rajab.
The 33-year-old German woman attended a ceremony at the department of non-Iranian pilgrims at the holy shrine where she recited the Shahada (There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Prophet of God” to convert to Islam.
The 33-year-old German woman, who previously adhered to Catholic beliefs, after extensive research and inquiry, embraced the holy religion of Islam.
She did so with eyes full of hope and a heart brimming with certainty by reciting the Shahada at the sacred shrine of the eighth Imam (AS).
