AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei stressed the need to train individuals who are on par with the people of the era of Zuhur (reappearance of Savior).
“We should also be equipped with the science of the day to be able to foil the enemy schemes and plots,” he said, addressing the 20th International Mahdism Doctrine Conference on Thursday.
The conference was held at the Jamkaran Mosque in Qom on the theme of “Awaiting the Savior; Speed of World Developments and the Future of the World”.
The development of our knowledge should be aligned with preparing for the Zuhur, he stated.
“If we want to pave the way for the Zuhur, we must strengthen human and divine virtues in ourselves and others with a Jihadi and revolutionary spirit. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in the statement on the second phase of the revolution, said that in this phase, we should pursue self-improvement, community building, and civilization building, as this sets the stage for the Zuhur. (Imam Zaman) will reappear so that a divine civilization is established worldwide. He will fight against all manifestations of corruption, and all of us, including officials and the people, are responsible (for fighting against corruption).”
He went on to say that “we should be optimistic about divine promises and maintain sincerity on this path.”
The International Mahdism Doctrine Conference is organized in Iran annually on the occasion of the birthday of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), which falls on Friday, February 14, this year.
Mahdism refers to the belief that the last Shia Imam, Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), will reappear at the end of time and spread justice in the world.
