AhlulBayt News Agency: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement on the occasion of the grand and enthusiastic funeral of martyrs "Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safiuddin" in Beirut.
A part of the statement reads: "The grand and miraculous funeral of the martyrs and leaders of the Lebanese resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safiuddin, was held with the presence of millions of people from various nations, ethnicities, and ideologies. Despite the humiliating and threatening actions of the Israeli fighter jets in the skies of Beirut, the funeral became a symbol of the power of Islam and Lebanon's national unity, and it turned into the resounding voice of anti-Zionist resistance."
The statement further adds: "This grand and historic funeral, rare in the Islamic world and in Beirut, shows that Hezbollah is still powerful and victorious, and the spirit of resistance is alive in the hearts of free nations. The Islamic community and the larger resistance front continue to move forward with strength in their mission to free Al-Quds and the liberation of Islamic lands. The martyrs' path, especially the great leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, will guide them forward."
The statement, while honoring the memory, name, ideals, and inspirational deeds of the martyr of resistance, stated that the presence of people from various countries, religions, ethnicities, and political parties at the funeral is a symbol of their renewed commitment to the resistance ideology and a powerful response to the enemies of the resistance.
It further emphasized that the criminal, child-killing, racist, and terrorist leaders of the Zionist regime should know that there is no escape from the hard fate awaiting them, and ultimately, they will be trampled under the feet of those who continue the path of the martyrs, and the world will witness the cleansing of the region from their filthy and demonic presence.
