Iran's President felicitates Syria on National Day

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): President Rouhani sent a message to his Syrian counterpart to offer him and the people of the country congratulations on the National Day of the Syrian Arab Republic, expressing confidence that relations would further develop in all fields of mutual interest.

President Hassan Rouhani's message is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

His excellency Mr Bashar Assad,

Honourable President of the Syrian Arab Republic,

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency, the government and the people of your country on the national day of the Syrian Arab Republic.

I am confident that with regard to the ample potentials and capabilities in the two countries, valuable steps can be taken to establish peace and stability in the region, develop regional cooperation and deepen relations between the two countries in all fields of mutual interest.

I wish Your Excellency health and success and the government and brother people of Syria prosperity and felicity.
