Pres. Rouhani: Fulfilling Supreme Leader's orders in provincial trips seriously pursued

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The 236th meeting of the Cabinet's Economic Coordination Board was held on Sunday, chaired by President Dr Hassan Rouhani.

The President pointed out that the Government of Prudence and Hope had a new approach to provincial trips from the beginning, and said, "One of the important features of these trips in this government is conducting accurate review with a view to land planning and avoiding impractical promises".

Emphasising that the government's actions in provincial trips has based on development-oriented studies, Dr Rouhani said, "The result of this approach, in addition to preventing the waste of the country's resources in unfinished projects, was that the confidence of the people of the provinces in the government in fulfilling is promises increased".

The President said, "Another effort of the government, which was done with diligence and seriousness, was to fulfil the orders of the Supreme Leader during the provincial trips, one of the most obvious examples of which is the border water project and cultivating hundreds of thousands of hectares of land in Khuzestan and Ilam provinces ".

Dr Rouhani said, "During these years, we have witnessed the result of implementing the policies of resistive economy emphasised by the Supreme Leader in the provincial trips that the country was able to resist this amount of pressure".

The President pointed out that most of the approvals in the provinces have been operationalised and realised, which has had a great impact on the promotion of social capital.

Emphasising that the value of these achievements becomes clearer when most of these services have been performed under the toughest sanctions during the economic war, Dr Rouhani called on researchers and the media to express the realities of the economic war and victory over the United States in the war.
