AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The second international gathering of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Media Narrators was held on Thursday morning, January 30, at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom.
In this event, dedicated to non-Iranian seminarians, 100 media activists and influencers from various countries attended, and some of these international activists presented reports on their media activities.
Hassan Sadraei Aref, the Director of ABNA News Agency, referring to the participants in the ceremony, stated, “We consider you as narrators of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, meaning, just as the chain of Shiite Hadith narrators has passed down the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings from generation to generation, in the current era, we can continue to disseminate these teachings extensively and effectively through the media.”
Sadraei further said, “Dr. Jabali, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), who attended this media gathering, is regarded as an international figure. He is the child of both university and religious knowledge, and we view the presence of a figure who has experience in religion, media, and international affairs as a very positive sign in this gathering.”
The Director of ABNA News Agency added, “I would like to express my gratitude for the support, insight, and strategic vision of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. Given his emphasis that the activities of ABNA should not be limited to reporting Shiite events, organizational actions are now on ABNA’s agenda.”
“At ABNA News Agency, we have already carried out activities such as holding the first international gathering of AhlulBayt (a.s.) narrators, conducting international journalism courses, organizing literary, artistic, and media events, and the Abna al-Hussain Media Event. I am pleased to announce that the International Union of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Media Activists will soon begin its activities, with the goal of synergy, empowering activists, and creating new media capacities in the Islamic world,” he said at the end of his speech.
