AhlulBayt News Agency: Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Taqi Modarresi, in a meeting with a delegation from Yemen, emphasized the importance of unity and the role of scholars and leaders in this regard. Citing the words of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (PBUH), he considered increasing pressures on nations as a prelude to salvation.
Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Taqi Modarresi, one of the Iraqi scholars, while receiving a delegation from Yemen, including the Deputy Minister of Culture and Guidance, in his office in Karbala, quoted the words of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (PBUH) who said: "Relief is closer when things become difficult." He also stated that increasing pressures on Islamic nations is a prelude to approaching salvation.
The senior cleric further noted,” Successful leadership is possible when officials pay attention to the highest interests of all people without discrimination between groups of people and their tribes. “
The prominent scholar added, "The proper attitude of officials eliminates obstacles and differences among members of society, and as a result, enables the leadership to treat everyone fairly and without discrimination. However, if the leadership uses discrimination in its view of the people, it will not achieve results and will not succeed in leadership."
He went on to say, "The most important means of achieving this unity includes increasing meetings and efforts to dialogue and discuss to form a unified vision about the future of Yemen and the Islamic Ummah in general."
