AhlulBayt News Agency: Thousands of people staged rallies in different parts of Germany on Saturday to call for sustainable peace in the Gaza Strip.
In addition to the various types of red flags that are used every year, protesters this time were holding numerous Palestinian flags in red, black, white, and green.
The Israeli regime’s genocidal war on Gaza was the main focus of the demonstrations.
Some of the protesters addressed the rallies, describing the situation in the Gaza Strip and speaking about Israeli terrorism and genocide.
The crowds shouted “Free Palestine” and stressed the need for the ceasefire in Gaza to continue.
They urged the German government to use all means available to strive for peace in Palestine.
The demonstration in Berlin was held under the title of “Just Peace for Palestine”.
It was organized by a coalition of 50 organizations, including Amnesty International.
A ceasefire agreement has been in place in Gaza since Jan. 19, suspending the Israeli regime’s genocidal war that has killed more than 48,200 people, mostly women and children, and left the enclave in ruins.
