AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued on Friday to besiege the Jenin government hospital, amidst a wide escalation of aggression on the city and its camp for 32 days, resulting in martyrs, injuries, and unprecedented destruction of homes and infrastructure.
IOF soldiers aboard dozens of military vehicles are stationed around the Jenin hospital and the Hope Hospital, checking the identities of citizens and interrogating them while they move in the area.
Jenin hospitals are suffering from a severe shortage of water, following the targeting and destruction of water lines by the IOF, with nearly 35% of the city’s population lacking access to water.
Since the beginning of the first days of aggression, occupation forces have taken control of nearby buildings in the Jenin camp as military barracks, while continuing to send military reinforcements and bulldozers to the Al-Basatin neighborhood in Jenin city.
The occupation forces have brought fuel tankers, water tanks, and small fortified rooms for use by the IOF soldiers indicating a lengthy stay in Jenin city and its refugee camp.
The IOF has forced about 3,000 families from the Jenin camp to flee their homes, while more than 120 houses have been completely demolished, amidst widespread destruction of streets and infrastructure.
IOF soldiers arrested a child from the town of Yamoun while he was outside his home on Friday, and last night they stormed the town of Ya’bad south of Jenin.
