Army units continued on Saturday to repel and target terrorists in various areas, frustrating the infiltration attempts of some of their groups and destroying the dens and gatherings of others, with many of the terrorists getting killed in the course of the operations.

Units of the armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists near the 5th Island in al-Waer neighborhood in the countryside of Homs central province.

A military source told SANA that army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in the village of al-Sultania and in the southern al-Msheirfa village in the countryside, leaving a number of them dead and wounded.

The source added that other units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempts from the villages of Mas’ada, Um al-Rish and Mazyian al-Baqar into the villages of al-Mas’audyia and Jub al-Jarrah in the countryside, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.

Army units killed many terrorists, some of them non-Syrians, injured others and destroyed satellite transmission devices in Idleb countryside.

A military source told SANA reporter that the army units killed and injured a number of terrorists who attempted to attack military posts surrounding Bsinkoul town in the countryside.

The source added that an army unit killed and wounded a number of terrorists after targeting their hideouts surrounding Saraqeb town, some of them non-Syrians.

Another army unit targeted a den of the so-called “Hazm” terrorist movement in the surrounding of Khan al-Subul in the countryside, killing and injuring all terrorists inside it.

Terrorist Ahmad Abel-Elah al-Safar was identified among the killed. Satellite transmission devices were also destroyed.
