Sheikh Maher Hamoud, top Sunni cleric and Secretary General of the Union of Resistance Ulima, in his weekly sermon in Sidon Mosque warned that the aim of all intrigues and crises in the region is to distract the minds of Muslims and Arabs so that they forget their most important concern, the issue of Palestine.
He warned if some Muslim and Arab states take a neutral stance, then Zionist crimes for judaisation and settlement expansions will be extended.
"Now Zionists know that their end is certain and military facilities and support of the western states is not counted a positive point for them."said the senior cleric.
Sheikh Allameh Afif Nablosi in his sermon in Sayyada Zahra (SA) Mosque in Sidon stressed importance of parliamentary and presidential elections in Lebanon and said security issues are threadbare excuses because our situation is not more critical than Syria and Iraq where elections were held.
Sheikh Nablosi also called popular Intifadha and resistance as the only ways to end Zionist crimes in Palestine.
Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, Deputy of the Supreme Shia Parliament in Lebanon and Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan, grand Jafari Mufti of Lebanon in their sermon in Imam Hussein (AS) Mosque in southern Beirut stressed importance of confrontation with Zionist and Takfiri enemies and distancing intrigues from Lebanon.
Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan demanded Palestinian nation to maintain their solidarity against the enemies and prevent realization of their plots against Zionist plots for Al Aqsa Mosque.
Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah, orator of Imamain Hassanain (AS) Mosque in southern Beirut slammed attacks against Ashura mourners in different countries saying that," Those who committed these crimes have no relation with Islam."
He also hailed the wisdom, patience and tactful reaction of the people towards the attack against mourning site in this area and denounced silence of some Arabic and Islamic states against Zionist crimes in Al Aqsa Mosque.
