Expressing sympathy with the families of the victims of today's violent crimes, Qasemi added that intensification of bombing of residential areas in Yemen, continuation of the siege and closure of air, land and sea links as well as blocking humanitarian aid and necessities for life by the Saudi rulers indicate their desperation and failure to achieve their goals of attacking Yemen.
Criticizing international community for its silence against war crimes committed by Saudi rulers with the help of the US-supplied weapons, the spokesman said that attacks on residential areas and civilian targets as well as preventing international organizations and institutions from providing relief aid are flagrant violation of principles of humanitarian law.
Arms suppliers to aggressors are accomplices of the crimes committed by the Saudis, Qasemi contended, urging the UN and countries engaged in Yemeni crisis to do their best to immediately stop attacks and take necessary actions to uphold security and health of the civilian people, women and children in particular.
