Bahraini activist Ebtisam Al-Saegh denied entry into Saudi Arabia

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Bahraini rights campaigner Ebtisam al-Saegh reported that she was denied entry into next-door Saudi Arabia over the weekend.

Al-Saegh said in a post on social media that she was “shocked” by the move from Saudi authorities, arguing that there was no legal justification for denying her entry into the kingdom.

In recent years, Al-Saegh was among dozens of Bahraini rights activists subjected to travel bans and prevented from leaving Bahrain.

However, her latest attempt to cross the King Fahd Causeway was permitted by the Bahraini side, but she was turned back by the Saudis this time.
