Pakistani movie star Imran Abbas says he wants to live in Iran's Qom

Saeed Talebinia, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Culture House in Karachi, Pakistan met with Pakistani and Bollywood movie star Imran Abbas.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Saeed Talebinia, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Culture House in Karachi, Pakistan met with Pakistani and Bollywood movie star Imran Abbas.

In this meeting, which took place on the eve of his visit to Iran as part of the “Speak About Iran” project of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization, the two sides expressed their views on issues of Iranian and Pakistani cinema and television.

Talebinia expressed hope that in the near future, Iranian and Pakistani movie institutions will be able to start producing joint films and series with the participation of prominent actors from the two countries.

Pakistani actor Imran Abbas also noted,” I have traveled to most countries around the world, but since childhood there has been a spiritual attraction in my heart that is due to the mourning of Imam Hussein (PBUH). The beauties of the world are not important to me and I wish to spend the rest of my life in spirituality.”

He added,” Pakistan is my homeland, but if I were to leave Pakistan, I would buy a residence in the back alleys of the city of Qom and spend the rest of my life there.”

Imran Abbas, referring to Majid Majidi as a great director of world cinema, said, “Iranian films are truly artistic and of high quality, and I am very interested in acting in Iranian cinema.”
