AhlulBayt News Agency: The birth anniversary of Imam Mehdi (AS), the 12th Imam of the Shias , was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at Jamia Imam Jafar Sadiaq (AS) in Shadipora, Sumbal. The event was attended by renowned religious scholars from the All J&K Shia Association.
Molvi Imran Ansari, President of the All JK Shia Association, and former Cabinet Minister of J&K, delivered a thought-provoking speech on the occasion.
He emphasized the importance of preparing for the Zahoor (reappearance) of Imam Mehdi (AS) and the need for spiritual purification.
He also expressed deep concern over the growing menace of drug addiction and online betting among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
"We must recognize the destructive impact of these vices on our society and take collective responsibility to eradicate them," Molvi Ansari urged. "As parents, it is our duty to monitor our children's activities and guide them towards a virtuous path."
The gathering concluded with a heartfelt prayer for peace and prosperity around the world, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.
