AhlulBayt News Agency: We demand that the roads should be opened immediately so that the public can have access to basic necessities. Strict action should be taken against the terrorists so that peace and order can be restored. Immediate relief should be provided to the affected people to prevent further loss of life.
Vice Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, Allama Syed Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi, in his condemning statement, expressed serious concern over the ongoing unrest in Kurram District, particularly in Parachinar, the closure of roads, and the difficulties faced by the people.
He stated that for the past several months, the people in the region have been trapped, and due to a shortage of food and medicines, a humanitarian crisis has emerged, leading to the loss of valuable lives.
Once again, terrorists attacked vehicles carrying food and medicines, openly challenging the state's authority. The unfortunate fact is that the provincial government and security agencies seem to be unable to control a handful of terrorists. This situation is not only condemnable but also raises questions about the state's sovereignty.
We demand that the roads be opened immediately so the public can access basic necessities. Strict action should be taken against the terrorists to restore law and order.
Immediate relief should be provided to the affected people to prevent further loss of life. The state's authority should be reinstated, and strict action should be taken against the responsible elements.
He demand the immediate release of the active public youth leader in Kurram, regional Chairman Mazmal Faseeh, who is imprisoned in false cases by the provincial government, should be carried out. The silence and helplessness of the provincial government and security agencies are pushing the country toward a new crisis, which is unacceptable.
He further stated, "We demand that those in charge take immediate action to save the public from this torment. No amount of condemnation for this brutality is enough. We stand against oppression, and we will take every constitutional and legal step to protect the rights of the people."
