AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the Palestinian people’s 15-month resistance undermined the grandeur and superiority of the Zionist regime and is supporters in the face of the blood of the innocent civilians.
In a meeting with Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah in Tehran on Wednesday evening, the Iranian president congratulated the Palestinian resistance groups and people on their victory over the Zionist enemy. He also expressed condolences over the martyrdom of numerous civilians, commanders and fighters in the Gaza Strip.
President Pezeshkian said that the sacrifices made by the Palestian nation revealed the true nature and criminal face of the Zionist regime and its supporters to the world in a clear and effective manner.
He addressed the attempts by adversaries to sow discord among Muslim nations and Islamic states, emphasizing the need for the Islamic world to unite and put aside their differences. He said that the Zionist regime and its supporters have focused on exploiting disputes among Muslim countries.
The president reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian nation and the Islamic resistance, urging all Muslim states to stand by the Palestinians and assist the residents of Gaza in reconstructing their homeland.
Al-Nakhalah, for his part, commended the Palestinian nation’s glorious resistance and resilience against the Zionist regime, noting that the Islamic Jihad movement has supported other resistance groups, such as Hamas, since the onset of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
The Palestinian official expressed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its all-out support, adding that after failing in the military arena, the Zionist enemy seeks to pursue its agenda in political sphere; thus, vigilance is necessary in the face of plots devised by the regime and its supporters.
