AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the provision of humanitarian assistance to more than 6 thousand displaced Syrian families to Lebanon, as part of its ongoing campaign to support the displaced Syrians.
"In compliance with the directives of the supreme religious authority, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its humanitarian efforts to support the displaced Syrians, more than 60 days after the displacement of families to Lebanon,"said the head of the holy shrine delegation; Sayed Nafi al-Mousawi.
He added that " the aid targeted more than 6,000 families, including the distribution of food baskets and heating fuel at a rate of 40 liters per family, to alleviate the suffering of the displaced during the winter," stressing that "the Holy Shrine aims to deliver aid to all 17,500 displaced families.
Al-Mousawi pointed out that"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the guidance of His Eminence Sayed Ahmed al-Safi, continues to deliver relief assistance to the rest of the displaced families to ensure their access to food and the necessary heating means".
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its relief support through the provision of humanitarian assistance in various areas hosting displaced Syrians, to provide the basic materials they need and to ensure a decent life for them under difficult humanitarian conditions.
Through these initiatives, the Al-Abbas's (P) Shrine seeks to strengthen the spirit of cooperation and social solidarity, affirming its continued commitment to providing support to needy families to alleviate their suffering, improve their living conditions, and ensure access to as many families as possible.
