AhlulBayt News Agency: Five Persian Gulf Arab countries, Egypt and Jordan held an unofficial mini Arab summit in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to agree on a joint position against US president Donald Trump’s plan to relocate the Gaza residents to Egypt and Jordan.

An informed source close to the Saudi government told Agence France-Presse that the summit was held and concluded on Friday afternoon, without releasing any official statement, pointing out that Oman did not attend the meeting.

The Saudi state-run TV channel al-Ekhbariya published a photo of the Arab leaders who participated in the summit in Riyadh, without stating its agenda or location.

On Thursday, Saudi Arabia said the meeting would be unofficial and brotherly, and its decisions would be on the agenda of the emergency Arab summit to be held in Egypt on March 4.

Meanwhile, different media outlets talked about possible disagreements that would mar the upcoming summit, especially over the issues of governing post-war Gaza and funding its reconstruction.
